Position Overview:

National Energy Installers is looking for a proactive and results-driven National Accounts Project Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with national account clients. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, combined with your strategic planning skills, will be essential in driving business growth. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions that meet the specific needs of our national account clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, and strong negotiation skills. Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities with national account clients in the renewable energy industry.
  2. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in national accounts.
  3. Strategic Planning: Create and implement strategic plans to drive business growth with national accounts.
  4. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and develop tailored proposals and solutions.
  5. Tailored Solutions Development: Craft customized solutions and proposals that meet the specific needs of national account clients.
  6. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand the needs and trends of the renewable energy industry.
  7. Project Management: Oversee projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  8. Negotiation and Closing Deals: Utilize strong negotiation skills to close deals and secure new business opportunities.
  9. Account Management: Manage and grow existing national account relationships.
  10. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on progress, goals, and roadblocks.
Qualifications:
  • Proven Business Development Experience: Demonstrable track record in business development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the renewable energy industry and its market dynamics.
  • Strong Relationship-Building Skills: Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proficient in strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaborative Skills: Experience working with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement business strategies.

At NEI, our work model requires up to 100% travel for site visits.

Compensation Range:

The salary range for this position is: $70,000 – $75,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.

NOTE: Title and salary will be commensurate with candidate experience.
